Cut Clean, Begin Clear

Today carries a particular sharpness, not harsh, but clarifying. The Mula nakshatra coloring today's Moon pulls toward the root of things, the place beneath the surface where something true lives. This is a strong day to stop managing around a problem and go straight to its source. Mercury and the Sun gathered in Virgo concentrate the mind beautifully, detail work, honest conversation, and careful decisions all find traction here. Friday's slower social pace is a gift: use it to think rather than react.

The Moon today

The Moon is travelling through Mula.

What is shaping today

• Mercury in Virgo: Mind at Full Strength. Mercury in Virgo is in its own sign and exaltation, analytical thinking is unusually precise today. Conjoined with the Sun, this graha yuti concentrates focus and supports clear, direct communication.
• Sun in Virgo: Clarity Over Performance. The Sun in Virgo moves away from Leo's expressive heat into a more discerning register. Joined with Mercury, the Sun-Mercury conjunction sharpens the capacity for honest self-assessment and purposeful action.
• Moon in Sagittarius: Digging for Truth. The Moon transiting Mula nakshatra, ruled by Ketu and associated with Nirrti, brings a destabilizing but clarifying quality, the emotional pull is toward stripping away what is no longer real and finding what remains underneath.
• Mars in Cancer: Protective Drive. Mars entering Cancer is in a sign of debilitation, which redirects assertive energy inward, toward protecting what matters rather than advancing outward. Action taken today from a place of care tends to be more sustainable than action taken from ambition.
